Center Grove High School, Indiana's 20th largest high school, is located in White River Township of Johnson County. Adjacent to the southern boundary of Indianapolis, White River Township is one of Indiana's fastest growing areas and is the largest population center of Johnson County. Most residents commute to Indianapolis businesses. Center Grove High School is a comprehensive four-year high school of 2000 students and 110 certified staff members. Since the 1995/96 year, students attend 90-minute classes that meet on alternating days. Students are enrolled in 7 classes. Most semester classes receive 1 credit per semester (0.5 Carnegie Unit). Center Grove is accredited by the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges and has been recognized as an Indiana Four-Star School by the Indiana Department of Education.
